9.  The value of growing the publisher’s brand.  When a publisher purchases a tailored installation of our system, he or she receives much more than a piece of cold software.  No, we provide the human training and the motivation to realize the importance of giving independent authors the respect they deserve.  We want our publishers to send their authors to school before installing our system.  That’s why we created the online courses, online tutorials, and online webinars.  I learned when I taught through the Caltech Industrial Relations Center that the successful companies relied on training to make their teams successful.  We don’t sell our products to publishers unless they completely understand the importance of training to their publishing business.

Sooner or later, every designer is going to come up against a client who, for whatever reason, won't pay up come invoice time. Lior Frenkel from nuSchool has been in this situation plenty of times, so he's written a book on how to deal with such clients. It's broken up into three parts: the first is about the best tactics for getting clients to pay up, the second looks into why clients don't pay, and the third part covers strategies for avoiding bad clients and working in a way that covers you in almost every situation.

There is no other eReader that has an accompanying developer studio for members built right inside the app. Although iBook, Blurb and Inkling Habitat have developer software available online, their systems are fixed and proprietary, and they take a cut from the price of every book you sell through them. That may mean more profit for the company, but it’s not conducive to independents. EMRE Publishing’s President and CEO, Jim Musgrave, is an independent author and publisher, so he wants all independents to be able to use his eReader and accompanying ePub3 Creator Studio so they can collect 97% of the profits once their masterpiece is created and uploaded.
The container.xml file serves one purpose: to tell the ereader where to look for the OPF file — that’s the one called content.opf here. That’s the heart of the ebook. It tells the ereader where to find all of the rest of the files in the ebook, what order to display them in, and what role each item serves (e.g. cover image, table of contents, etc.)

Ideally, our free ebook templates would magically match your brand colors. But, they probably don't; this is where you get to truly personalize your work. However, because ebooks offer more real estate for color than your logo or website, it's a good idea to consider secondary colors within your brand's color palate. Ebooks are where this color scheme can truly shine.

So, I'm trying to activate, it simply won't work. I email support, 3-4 days of no help. It was written that I'll get a response in 24 hours or less, that was false. Without activating the product, you cannot export your eBook anywhere. I'm pretty displeased. I'll be updating this review in a week or so, maybe five days or less to inform you if the problem was handled or not. As of now, definitely not worth the money.
You may come up with a slightly different process depending on how your team is organized and whether your designer is in-house or external. The point is that visuals can no longer be an afterthought in your eBooks—they should be carefully considered along with your written text. In many ways, writing an info-graphic is closer to writing a screenplay or graphic novel than a traditional long-form content piece.
If you want to write an eBook, or self-publish a hard cover, I recommend this software product. I have published 2 books so far, albeit short ones at this point, but I am just getting started. Others have commented that they cannot get support on this software, but I have had no problems getting very quick answers to two or three questions I have had. Nitin was very quick to help and respond. If you are willing to watch the provided videos, they are very good at pointing out how to do things step-by-step. The only drawback I have found is that some of the videos are mildly outdated due to changes that Amazon makes so the videos in a couple of cases are not up to speed but still provide what you need to know, or you can email and get an answer quickly. I hope Amazon will let me link my books so you know that I am not just writing to be writing; I want you to see product. https://amzn.to/2FJ36VQ & https://amzn.to/2RvTdSe are actual eBooks and hard covers available too. A Dad Remembered: Because He Couldn't and We All Know One: Happenstances with a Goofball: Engage Mouth Before Brain is the other one's title. It makes importing and converting very easy. I recommend watching the informative videos on whatever you have questions about. I have finally fulfilled a little dream of mine to be published!

Unless a customer or prospect is reading a book on an eReader, they’re unlikely to read pages and pages of text online. Luckily, an interactive eBook can convey a rich, valuable story without needing 5000 words of copy. Using videos, images, GIFs, animations, and layers of information, you can fully convey your story without relying on tons of copy to deliver the narrative.

While ebooks can be catered to achieve certain goals, the way most marketers use ebooks is to generate new leads at the top of the funnel. To achieve this goal, your ebook content should be majorly educational -- not product focused -- in nature. But does that mean you can't or shouldn't sneak in a few mentions of your product or service into them when appropriate? Absolutely not! In fact, when people are just starting to learn about your business in the awareness stage of the sales cycle, they probably know very little about the products and services you offer.

"From client management to typography, brand identity to finding alternative textures in Photoshop, this ebook offers practical tips for designers and showcases new ways to think about design," says the blurb.

Ebooks these days are getting immense response for the simple reason that these are easily available. There are thousands of ebooks about everything.
