I can convert, format, and layout your book as an eBook or print edition. I use html/css coding to create all eBooks. I don't use any auto conversion software. I have formatted many books for Amazon/Kindle (mobi file), Apple/iBooks, Barnes & Noble/Nook, Kobo, Google Play, and anywhere else that accepts ePub files. I am also familiar with Smashwords and can create both a Word doc and ePub file for their distribution channels. I have created print editions for many print on demand sites, such as CreateSpace, IngramSpark/Lightening Source, Lulu, and Amazon's paperback printing via KDP (currently in Beta). I use Adobe InDesign to create a PDF file that will comply with all requirements from these sites.

After researching, we downloaded or subscribed to all the services so we could try out each one’s features. We created profiles in each system and tried out all of the programs’ tools to get a sense of how they well they work for common tasks. We loaded content into each software and timed how long it took to process the data. We also noted if the program malfunctioned or performed slower than other eBook creators.
Pressbooks is an easy to use online tool. You just need to sign up and can straight away start making your eBook. If you already have a manuscript ready, you can import the file and paste chapters in this eBook creation software. It allows you to add audio, video and image files. You can also select the look of your page from their list of display templates. After completion of the eBook, you can export it in PDF, ePUB, ePUB3, Mobi, xhtml formats. Once you have downloaded your files, you can submit them to eBook stores or use a third-party distributor to sell your newly created eBook.
This is an online tool with an easy to operate interface. This tool allows you to create your eBooks right from scratch. You can select the page style and layout and design the cover page. Their price calculation tool lets you set an appropriate price for the eBook. The tool also helps you keep a track of your earnings and the number of books you’ve sold. Notion press allows you to sell the eBook through their own bookstore.
That said, there's a growing movement towards free and 'freemium' content on the web. And the quality of the content is often on a par with the books you'd part with cash for. Clearly nobody can afford to print and distribute free physical books, but in this age of tablets, smartphones and laptops the electronic book offers a fantastic, and very cheap, way to spread this content. If you do have some cash to spare, take a minute to browse our guide to the best graphic design books – you can be sure you won't be wasting your money.
The above presentation proves that readers of digital eBooks act on content delivered by mobile devices.  These readers also need digital applications that can provide more than just an excellent ePub3 e-Reader app.  They also want to create their own eBooks, upload them into a store, and download them to sell on other conventional retail outlets like Amazon Digital, iBooks, and Smashwords.
However, its format selection is a little bare-bones, and it wasn’t as easy to navigate as some other services we reviewed. In fact, we were overwhelmed as we sorted through the project options in the software. It doesn’t have formatting options for magazines or comic books, though you can make more traditional projects like picture books, novels and guides. Ultimate eBook Creator also includes photo rendering tools to make images look clear. The company has ties with publishers, so it’s easy to monetize your projects. Ultimate eBook Creator downloads to your computer, so you don’t need an internet connection to access it.

If you're considering making your ebook available for sale through ebook marketplaces like the Kindle Store, things get a little bit more complicated . You'll need to conform to the specific ebook format of that particular store, and you'll likely need to make chan ges to the style, design, and file of your ebook. In general, you'll need to modify your ebook to embody a very simple design with few visuals and limited formatting. Publishing services like Lulu.com can make this process more easily manageable.

I have been working with the Kotobee crew for some time now, specifically with their Kotobee Author software. I find it to be intuitive, easy to use, and generally a pleasure to work with. The developers have been incredibly responsive as well and really stand behind their product. Using their software I have been able to create engaging, fun, and highly educational eBooks that have been instrumental in my students learning and education.

One Administrator can oversee publishers and collect fees for use of platform. Each assigned Publisher/author can create ePub3 books, price them, and upload them into the store using Stripe payment system. This is for the self-published author or teacher who wants to team-up with authors or teachers of the same genre or subject area/discipline. The licensee can run this business and collect royalties or fees as the Administrator/Owner. This installs on the server of the client with assistance of our technologist.

Read the BOOK CREATOR Getting Started tutorial, and then tap the "+" or New Book icon on the main screen. Choose a book shape and tap the "+" button to add photos, video, text, and sound to the cover page, first page, and so on. Swipe to move your content around the page, and resize or rotate it as desired. Under the "i" tab, find many options for adjusting or deleting items. Every time you want to add something, just tap "+" again. Tap Pages and Edit to reorder or delete pages. When the book is done, tap on the toolbar's send icon to read it in iBooks (iOS) or share it in another way.
This allows you to insert any URL you want, and Sqribble will automatically pull the content from that page and insert into your book. It strips the html code and only inserts the text from the page. This is a great method because it saves a ton of time, and allows you to use expert content (with credits) so you can target topics and niches you’re not an expert in!
A great way to make your ebook design look more professional is to use a different font for your chapter heading (use a font from the book's cover). Be careful of copyright infringement, though, and make sure you have the license to use a font digitally. Ereaders have very few built-in fonts, so you'll need to embed the font in the ebook. Click here for instructions on how to do that using the Jutoh software.
Smashwords actually prefers Word docs — and will allow you to download your converted file in ePub format after they’ve run it through their famous “Meat Grinder” conversion tool (it’s actually a customized version of the software at the heart of Calibre). Amazon’s Kindle Direct Publishing does a pretty good job of converting simple Word files. Kobo’s Writing Life and Barnes and Nobles’ Nook Press have online ebook editing tools.
My favorite projects are newsletters and brochures, from full color to simple black and white - each one is like a puzzle, but you get to be creative in how you solve it! I also have years of experience creating booklets, flyers, magazines and marketing materials, business packages (letterhead, envelopes, business cards) invitations and forms. Please take a look at my Portfolio to see samples.
No matter what subject your ebook takes on, research is a significant part of ebook creation. Unlike short-form content like articles and videos, the content of an ebook is predicated on trust and evidence. A user who obtains (or requests access to) your ebook wants the full story, not just the bullet points. That includes all the content and testing you went through to produce the ebook.
I developed my business because publishers and authors were getting ripped-off to the tune of three billion dollars per year with book piracy.  My eReader has an excellent Digital Rights Management system.   If publishers use my system, they can prevent eBook piracy.  However, if the book is poorly written, I can’t help them.  If one reads the negative comments on Amazon, one can see that the major disappointment of these readers is that fact that his BookShot title Cross Kill is not a complete story.  In other words, in his eagerness to lead the reader into the next serial, Patterson forgot that when a reader plunks down money (forget the piracy for a moment), he or she wants a complete drama with no “cliff-hangers.”
Keeping the reader in a single application allows the publisher to charge less for each title sold, and so nothing needs to be paid to a middleman distributor (like Amazon) if the publisher plays his cards right.  Marketing money can be better spent on directly reaching potential and current readers on their mobile devices rather than through the unwieldy algorithms and proprietary software of the Amazon Kindle (or the Apple, or the Nook, etc.).
I have taught graphics and illustrating for a long time and until I used Book Creator with my students the process was always missing something. Book Creator has given us the tool to create and deliver professional content that is worth sharing with the world I am very proud of what my students create and how their work is displayed when it is finished.

This is another interactive eBook creator. The interesting part about this software is that it gives the flipping page effect when you turn to the next page in your eBook. This flip effect comes as an interesting change when compared to normal eBooks. You can add multimedia elements to your eBook files. It allows you to convert PDFs into suitable eBook files for whichever eReader you want. The eBooks can be accessed from any system and platform. You would have to download this software on your Windows, iOS or Android system before using it.
