This allows you to insert any URL you want, and Sqribble will automatically pull the content from that page and insert into your book. It strips the html code and only inserts the text from the page. This is a great method because it saves a ton of time, and allows you to use expert content (with credits) so you can target topics and niches you’re not an expert in!

Modern Day Miracle Workers- That’s what happens when you combine the brilliance and the fanatical support that Kotobee offers. I came across this website in late 2015 with an idea for a new way of creating children’s books. I knew what I wanted the book to look like, but I had no idea how to create the programming for it. I had a major issue with Apple iBooks and Kotobee figured it out and we had the book to market in February 2016. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough and they have a customer for life in me. I just hope more people work with them so they stay in business for as long as I am alive!

The developers have been incredibly responsive as well and really stand behind their product. Using their software I have been able to create engaging, fun, and highly educational eBooks that have been instrumental in my students learning and education.
You keep pushing through... "I'm so close" ... "It's just the design to go!" ... "It really shouldn't be this hard!?"  ... BUT what if this time, you didn’t have to go it alone? What if instead, you had an amazing designer and digital publishing expert by your side to create you a one-of-a-kind eBook design – from idea to design to finished product (aka: income) – without a hitch?
Oh yes, my my, Apple.  One of the wealthiest corporations in the world in 2015.  They didn’t get there by coddling other companies and especially other publishers.  With open source, we learned to work around the Apple gorillas in the room.  With the Embellisher™ system, publishers can deliver their magazines in ePub3 format to the reader directly by instant messages, bypassing the hairy brutes like Apple and Amazon.  Thus, no profit is lost on selling those single copies in iTunes, so lamented by Mr. Editor back in 2012.

10. The value of saving money.  I left this one for last because it’s usually the value that publishers look for first when they are deciding upon a new technology that changes things the way ours does.  Remember the value of planning and preparation?  It began back in the days of Quality Circles Management, and ended with the death of the professor I got to know personally, Peter F. Drucker, and his “knowledge workers.”  Sure, you have to spend some money up-front to train your authors to use the promotional tools and to create using our ePub3 Creator Studio.  But once the assembly line is in place, the products you will be creating will have a much more streamlined, efficient and cost-saving value to the eReader and to the author.  Sadly, the “big 5” have given that effectiveness to a limited stable of “star authors,” but we aim to change that in a hurry.  Are you with us?
I’ve published a dozen or so books for the Kindle platform and while it’s easy to upload the finished book and fill out the forms to make them available for sale, it’s really hard formatting the books properly, even if you use Amazon’s directions.  I picked up a copy of Ultimate eBook Creator myself a few years ago and I’ve found it to be easy to use and it’s never given me any trouble at all.  Nitin also updates Ultimate eBook Creator regularly and adds features as people request them, and all of the updates are free.

Think about how you got here -- you clicked on a call-to-action (CTA) in an email, on a social media post, or somewhere else. A CTA is a link or visual object that entices the visitor to click and arrive on a landing page that will get them further engaged with your company. Since your ebook readers have probably converted into leads in order to get their hands on your ebook to begin with (more on this in Step 2 below), use the CTAs within your ebook to reconvert your readers and propel them further down your marketing funnel.

I started writing in 2004. I've been in the indie publishing industry since 2010. I started working with a small group of authors to test the waters and get to know how the industry worked in the beginning. But as my knowledge grew and I began to get more experience, I knew I wanted to do this for the long-term. So I joined oDesk (now Upwork) toward the end of 2014. Since then I've worked with a plethora of authors and even small publishing houses on so many different projects. I've worked on a number of non-fiction titles and fiction titles and have done various book production services for each of my clients. Some need formatting. Some need proofreading. Some need a fresh cover design. Some need a mixture of the three. I've also done work with magazines, taking old editions and digitizing them by following their style to upload to their dedicated CMS. Number of years of experience (as of start of 2017)? eBook and paperback formatting: 5 Proofreading: 3 Copy editing: 3 Indexing: less than a year Cover design: technically 3, but I had 10 years of experience in graphic and web design before starting on covers.

eBooks are not only the best platforms to keep yourself engaged digitally, but are also one of the best ways to pass on your content to a larger audience base. In today’s competitive world, it becomes imperative for the book authors or content marketers to create an eBook that appeals to the readers. While providing a free eBook of your content will help create a prospect list of clients, an elaborately prepared eBook in the meantime will also convince your customers of your prowess, knowledge and resources.

When you’re selling products online, professional eBook design isn’t just “nice-to-have” – it’s a must have! I know from my 8+ years industry experience when your eBook looks polished and professional, it boosts your credibility, keeps your brand cohesive and consistent, attracts truckloads of sign-ups (to your lead magnet), converts into sales (ka-ching), and draws lots of new clients and eyes on your product, AND it also amps up your brand recognition (... now who doesn't want that?)

That said, there's a growing movement towards free and 'freemium' content on the web. And the quality of the content is often on a par with the books you'd part with cash for. Clearly nobody can afford to print and distribute free physical books, but in this age of tablets, smartphones and laptops the electronic book offers a fantastic, and very cheap, way to spread this content. If you do have some cash to spare, take a minute to browse our guide to the best graphic design books – you can be sure you won't be wasting your money.
Keeping on top of the ever-changing world of Adobe should be a core design value. After all, it’s not merely about innovation or creativity — it’s about ensuring that you fully comprehend the tools you use each and every day. Without that insight, you will find it a strain to even get started on some projects. So, let’s go straight to the source here and read the Adobe Printing Guide.

With Lucidpress, it’s easier than ever before to create an ebook and share it with the world. So, I'm trying to activate, it simply won't work. I email support, 3-4 days of no help. It was written that I'll get a response in 24 hours or less, that was false. Without activating the product, you cannot export your eBook anywhere. I'm pretty displeased. I'll be updating this review in a week or so, maybe five days or less to inform you if the problem was handled or not. As of now, definitely not worth the money.
